Mirage wallpaper with prickly pear cacti on a wall-filling scale

Mirage wallpaper brings a full clump of prickly pear cacti onto your wall, with fruits sitting like buds along the edges of the pads. On the left, the large plant grows up from the floor to well above eye level. At the top right, a second cluster hangs inwards. In between, the image leaves plenty of empty background, and it is precisely that calm which makes the cacti look so large. It is one continuous image with no pattern repeat, so each pad of 20 to 40 centimetres appears only once on the wall.

Imagery and colors of Mirage wallpaper

The design is an edited photograph in a single tone, with a slightly grainy ground that looks like paper. The spines are thin, light strokes across the pads. In colourway 01, gray-green cacti stand out against light beige. The image stays soft and steps back as soon as you walk into the room. Colourway 02 shows a different motif: tall columnar cacti in front of a mountain ridge, as a photograph with black outlines, in gray and taupe on beige. Colourway 03 is also part of the series.

INSTABILELAB Mirage wallpaper in your interior

On a curved wall next to a wooden floor and slatted panels, the beige flows into the wood while the cactus shapes hold the eye. That is why INSTABILELAB wallpaper works best on a single wall that you see from the door or the sofa, with little else beside it. A low wooden bench, a wicker basket and dried flowers tie in with the colors. Find more designs in the INSTABILELAB wallpaper collection.
