PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Two Storks wallpaper with storks and winding paisley tendrils
On Two Storks wallpaper, two white storks stand beak to beak. Between them is a mushroom-shaped tree in which an eye watches over them. Around this scene wind broad paisley bands full of green leaves, each enclosing a new motif: a rosette with a daisy-like flower in a red wreath, a medallion with a red fern sprig, a green fan shape with a white flower. In the open space between them grow sprigs with round buds. The whole design reads like Suzani embroidery that has been repainted by hand.
Colours of Two Storks wallpaper: Anthracite, Taupe and Ochre
In Anthracite, everything sits on a dark navy blue ground. Red, white and teal stand out vividly against it, complemented by olive green, orange and a medallion in blue and ochre yellow. Taupe is lighter in tone: a cream-pink background with sage and olive green, ochre-gold lines and accents in red, pink and lilac. That version keeps a room airy, while Anthracite draws the walls closer around you. Mind the Gap also offers the design in a third colourway, Ochre.
Mind the Gap wallpaper on the wall: scale and effect in your interior
The paisley loops measure roughly fifty to seventy centimetres, about the width of a painting, so the pattern fills the wall without looking fragmented. Hang it above a wooden sideboard with rattan doors and a brass wall lamp, and a framed portrait and earthenware stand out well against it. The painted lines and visible linen texture give the wall something of a tapestry. Two Storks wallpaper by Mind the Gap is part of the Transylvanian Rhapsody wallpaper collection.
