Il Bacio wallpaper by Tecnografica: Hayez's kiss on your wall
With Il Bacio wallpaper you bring The Kiss by Francesco Hayez into your home as one continuous image that fills an entire wall. A man in a brown cloak and feathered hat and a woman in a light blue dress embrace against a wall of stone blocks, with a column on the left and a staircase on the right. The figures are almost life-size, and there is no pattern repeat. The brushstrokes and the sheen on the fabric remain visible, turning your wall into a painting rather than a backdrop.
Colours of Il Bacio wallpaper and what to pair them with
The Il Bacio - Hayez colourway revolves around the contrast between the cool light blue of the dress and the warm rust brown and brick red of the man. Around them lies a calm field of greige and sand, with accents in white and dark brown. On adjacent walls, a muted sand tone or warm gray works best. Choose walnut or smoked oak, limestone or travertine, and textiles in rust-red velvet or dusty blue linen to echo the colors of the scene throughout the room.
Tecnografica wallpaper as an eye-catcher in the living room or hallway
This design calls for an uninterrupted wall where the image can be seen in its entirety: the long wall in the living room, a tall wall in the hallway or the wall behind the bed. Order it as made-to-measure wallpaper for your wall, so the couple takes center stage. Discover more painted art for your walls in the Tecnografica wallpaper collection. Want to know how the scene will look on your wall? The team at Selected Wallpapers is happy to help you.
