Sanderson Arboretum Wallpaper Collection

Arboretum wallpaper by Sanderson: trees, birds and blossom on your wall

With the Arboretum wallpaper by Sanderson you bring the British forest inside, from trunk to nest. The collection revolves around trees and what lives in them: birch branches with woodpeckers and blue tits, stacked tree canopies in etching style, chestnut blossom and a flock of geese in flight. The smaller patterns also come from nature, such as a truffle in cross-section. In the images the backgrounds are light or muted, from off-white to taupe. Against this, the execution varies greatly. You choose between a monochrome drawing with fine lines, a graphic stipple pattern and a multi-coloured painted scene.

Arboretum by Sanderson in dining room and hallway

In the lifestyle images you can see how the patterns behave in a room. Woodland Toile hangs in a dining room behind a weathered wooden table and black spindle chairs, where the grey forest brings a sense of calm. Woodland Chorus is hung in a hallway with a rustic console, terracotta pots and a green skirting board that repeats the foliage from the wallpaper. Truffle is so small-scale that it reads as texture from a distance. In all three spaces the Sanderson wallpaper is combined with wood, cane and earthenware.
