Cordes sensibles wallpaper collection Elitis

Elitis Cordes sensibles wallpaper with patterns drawn in cord

Cordes sensibles wallpaper by Elitis builds every pattern from lines that look like rope pressed close together. The collection is a collaboration with Véronique de Soultrait, and it pairs geometric motifs that read like inlaid cord with hand-painted designs. You get leaves, circles and squares, each traced in fine threads with thin gold accents. The palette stays earthy: cream, ochre, olive green, beige and black. Step close and you can follow a single line. Step back and the wall settles into one steady rhythm.

Designs in the Cordes sensibles wallpaper collection

Jonchee wallpaper works at a small scale, with pointed olive leaves that overlap like scales, each with a dotted midrib and a golden-brown outline. Courbes wallpaper sets a quarter circle in every square tile, so four tiles meet to form a full cream circle filled with fine concentric lines on a tan, linen-like ground. Carres Jalonnes wallpaper goes for contrast, with black frames around black cores on a large beige grid where fine lines radiate toward each center. Cocon wallpaper and Sillage wallpaper both use a diamond motif, Cocon in a large repeat and Sillage with a quieter texture. The hand-painted side brings Arabesque wallpaper with colorful organic lines, Le Palais des Vents wallpaper with broad shapes moving across the wall and Eclats Cosmiques wallpaper, a panoramic design full of curves. Terre wallpaper completes the series.

Cordes sensibles by Elitis in the bedroom, living room and hallway

Behind a bed, Courbes forms a single panel next to a gray wall and a terrazzo basin, with low sunlight falling across its circles. Jonchee covers a full wall in olive green behind a brown leather lounge chair. In a hallway, Carres Jalonnes meets black side tables that pick up the black in its squares.
