Volume I wallpaper by Voysey House: garden, damask and factory facade
The Volume I wallpaper by Voysey House consists of drawn patterns in muted colours on a light background. The subjects vary widely. A formal garden with blue peacocks, a mirrored damask full of flowers and birds, the facade of a brick-built factory beneath a cloudy sky. The composition also differs. Two of the patterns shown repeat in bands or mirror images across the entire wall. The third is a panel that fills a wall over its full height with one image. So you choose between rhythm and tableau.
Patterns in the Volume I wallpaper collection
Squire's Topiary wallpaper shows a garden in horizontal bands with cypresses, clipped conical trees, rose arches, fountains and pairs of blue peacocks looking at each other, on cream. Voysey's Damask wallpaper mirrors flowers, leaves and birds on a large scale in sage green and grey-blue. Voysey House wallpaper is a panel with a factory facade full of multi-pane windows beneath round arches, with clouds above. In Snake Tulip wallpaper tulip shapes transform into winding lines. Peace Birds wallpaper places birds among branches and leaves. With Papyrus River wallpaper papyrus runs vertically over the wall, in Green Fields or Tapestry. Dory Gigantica wallpaper shows stylised fish swimming among undulating water plants. Duleek Silk wallpaper is available in Voysey Blue and Clementine, among others. Dory wallpaper, Birds Grape wallpaper and Story of Eden wallpaper complete the series.
Volume I by Voysey House in the lifestyle images
In the lifestyle images each pattern receives its own setting. The peacock garden hangs behind a walnut sideboard with green doors, and the cobalt blue vase on it repeats the blue of the birds. The damask covers a bedroom wall beneath white cornices, next to a bay window. The factory facade occupies a tall freestanding wall in a hall with large metal windows. A repeating pattern fills your wall calmly; the panel stands as one image in the space.
