Himmel wallpaper Sandberg

Himmel wallpaper by Sandberg: a painted cloudy sky

With Himmel wallpaper you bring a full cloudy sky indoors. Densely packed cumulus clouds drift across the entire surface, with the occasional opening to the blue behind. There is no horizon and no obvious pattern repeat to catch the eye, so the sky flows uninterrupted from corner to corner. The clouds are painted with soft, fluffy strokes and a slightly chalky grain. As a result it looks more like a painting than a print, and it gives a room a sense of calm and height.

Colours of Himmel wallpaper in Light Blue

The Light Blue colourway combines white and off-white in the clouds with light gray shadows and a sky blue that leans towards soft turquoise. A hint of pale pink and peach makes the sky warmer than you might expect. Choose off-white or very light gray for the surrounding walls, so the clouds take center stage. Light pine, bleached oak and undyed linen suit that soft tone, as do limestone or a powder pink accent in a cushion or throw.

Sandberg wallpaper for ceilings and bedrooms

This Sandberg wallpaper looks its best above your head. On a ceiling or sloping attic wall, a room becomes a place under the open sky, which works especially well in a bedroom or nursery. As a feature wall behind a bed or in a reading corner, it does the same at eye level. If you are looking for made-to-measure wallpaper for a tricky roof shape, it is best to share your measurements with Selected Wallpapers. Discover more designs in the Sandberg wallpaper collection.
