Ljung wallpaper Sandberg

Ljung wallpaper by Sandberg with painted arched niches

Ljung wallpaper places a row of tall arched niches on your wall. They appear recessed, while the surface itself stays completely flat. Each niche has a semicircular top, spans almost the full height of the wall and ends at the bottom in a curved, shadowed area. Soft, airbrushed transitions and a fine grain make it a trompe-l'oeil rather than a crisp drawing. The result is a wall that suggests architecture: your room gains rhythm and depth, as if the niches had always been there.

Colours of Ljung wallpaper: Light Gray

In the Light Gray colourway, light gray niches stand out against an off-white background. The center of each niche is lighter, so the light seems to fall into it. This keeps the wall calm and bright, even though the pattern is large. Combine it with chalk white or warm gray on skirting boards and doors, and with light oak or, for contrast, dark walnut. Natural stone, undyed linen and coarse wool enhance its soft character, while black metal or brass adds a crisp accent.

Sandberg wallpaper for living room, bedroom and hallway

Because of its large scale, Ljung wallpaper by Sandberg looks its best on an uninterrupted wall: as an eye-catcher in the living room, behind the bed or at the end of a corridor. In a high-ceilinged room it emphasises the height, and in a lower space it draws the eye upwards. Want the niches to line up exactly with your wall? Ask about made-to-measure wallpaper. At Selected Wallpapers you will find Ljung alongside the rest of the Sandberg wallpaper collection.
