Lofstad Slott wallpaper: a castle as a panorama on your wall

With Lofstad Slott wallpaper you bring an entire baroque castle into your home, drawn like an old copper engraving. The main building, with its tall roofs, small bell tower and chimneys, stands at the center of the scene, flanked by side wings with towers. In the forecourt, figures in historical dress stroll past statues, a horse-drawn carriage rides by and a dog trots along. The image does not repeat and runs as one large panorama across several walls, even around corners. This turns your room into a stage set.

Graphite: the colourway of Lofstad Slott wallpaper

In the Graphite colourway, black and dark gray hatching lines draw the castle on a light gray to off-white background. The fine linework gives the cloudy sky depth and makes the façades stand out sharply. This understated base calls for contrast. Pair it with a bold color, such as red or cobalt blue in cushions and fabrics, or keep it calm with chalk white, gray-painted woodwork and natural stone. Warm oak and linen also work well alongside the graphic drawing.

Where Lofstad Slott wallpaper by Sandberg looks its best

Give this Sandberg wallpaper a wall that naturally draws the eye, such as the long wall in a dining room, living room or hallway. On the side walls, the landscape with trees, riders on horseback and a cart continues, so the panorama gains strength when it turns a corner. Because no two walls are the same, a panorama like this works best as made-to-measure wallpaper. In the Sandberg wallpaper collection at Selected Wallpapers you will find more designs that tell a story.
