Morangen wallpaper Sandberg

Morangen wallpaper by Sandberg with watercolour poppies

Morangen wallpaper brings a field of poppies indoors. It is painted in watercolour, with the paint bleeding and the edges staying soft. Long stems curve upwards, buds are still closed, and smaller wildflowers with delicate sprigs sit between the large blooms. The greenery fills the lower half. Above it the background stays empty, lightly mottled and paper-like. This gives the wall depth without making it busy. The motifs are large and repeat, so a whole wall flows on calmly.

Colours of Morangen wallpaper: Hazel and Pastel

In Hazel the poppies appear in sepia, taupe and dark brown on a light beige ground, with the occasional russet or lilac accent. This calls for warm tones such as linen curtains, oak and sand-colored paint. Pastel brings more color. Dusty pink and mauve flowers sit on cream, with sage green stems, a few blue buds and one gray-blue-black flower that anchors the design. Combine this colourway with soft green window frames, white oak or travertine. There is also a third colourway, Indigo Blue.

Sandberg poppy wallpaper for bedrooms and children's rooms

The flowers start low and the top stays empty, so the pattern works well behind the headboard of a bed. In a children's room, Pastel creates a soft, cheerful wall. Hazel suits a bedroom or a calm living room, on the wall you see first. The design is part of the Sandberg Edition wallpaper collection. At Selected Wallpapers you can choose Morangen wallpaper in the colourway that suits your space.
