Russet wallpaper Greenland

Russet wallpaper by Greenland with the look of a woven fabric

Russet wallpaper brings the calm of a woven fabric to your wall. Fine horizontal and vertical threads cross one another, interrupted here and there by small slubs and thicker thread sections that give the surface a handcrafted character. There is no motif and no pattern repeat, just a continuous grain that intrigues up close and looks uniform from a distance. This gives a room depth and warmth without the wallpaper demanding attention. It works as a soft backdrop for art, books and textiles.

Colours of Russet wallpaper, from cream to caramel

This Greenland design is available in ten colourways. Natural Cream is a light cream, almost off-white, with slubs that are just a touch lighter. Apricot Camel is sand beige with a warm undertone and pairs well with oak, travertine and lime paint in soft earth tones. Caramel Linen runs ochre and copper-brown threads over a greige ground. This creates a mottled effect that goes well with cognac leather, walnut and wool. Other colourways include Russet, Chestnut, Espresso and Onyx.

Where Greenland wallpaper with a woven texture works best

Because the surface is so calm, you can hang this wallpaper on every wall of a living room or bedroom without it becoming busy. In a study or hallway, it brings the warmth of fabric to walls that would otherwise remain bare. The light colors keep a small space feeling open, while Caramel Linen makes a large room more intimate. At Selected Wallpapers, you'll find this design in the Greenland wallpaper collection, alongside the brand's other patterns.
