Rustic Brown wallpaper Greenland

Rustic Brown wallpaper by Greenland with a woven textile texture

Rustic Brown wallpaper brings the calm of a woven fabric to your wall. Fine horizontal threads run across it with no visible pattern repeat. They are broken up by irregular slubs and wavy threads that never fall in the same place twice. It looks like raw silk or shantung: from a distance an even surface, up close a lively texture that holds your gaze. Your wall gains depth without a pattern demanding attention, and a large, empty wall instantly feels less bare.

Colours of Rustic Brown wallpaper: Wet Weather and Split Pea

Despite the name, neither colourway is brown. Wet Weather is mid-gray with light threads in white and cream, like the sky just after a rain shower. Combine it with chalk white, light oak and bluestone, or balance it with a deep ink-blue paint. Split Pea blends olive green and khaki gray with dark blue to blue-violet threads, so the color seems to shift as the light changes. That layered look calls for warm walnut, undyed linen and cushions in ochre or rust.

Greenland wallpaper for bedroom, study and hallway

Because no repeat is visible, you can hang this Greenland wallpaper on a single wall or cover an entire room without it becoming busy. Wet Weather gives a bedroom a calm backdrop. Split Pea turns a study or reading nook into a secluded retreat. In a hallway you see the texture up close, and that is where it really comes into its own. At Selected Wallpapers you'll find both colourways in the Aroma Silk wallpaper collection.
