Stacy wallpaper by INSTABILELAB: shadows of sunlight on plaster
With Stacy wallpaper you bring home that moment when the sun slants through a window and traces the shadow of a plant on the wall. Two beams of light run diagonally from bottom left to top right across a plastered wall. Within them appear the silhouettes of leaves and four-petalled flowers on branches, at roughly life size. It is one continuous image without repetition, so the shadow section has a fixed place: roughly the middle third of your wall. Stains, fine lines and hairline cracks in the plaster complete the illusion.
Colours of Stacy wallpaper: from off-white to ochre
The shadows have no color of their own. They take on the tone of the wall, just as real shadows do. In color 01 the wall is off-white with a light gray-beige haze, the beams of light are almost white and the leaves stand out in light gray. Colour 02 is warmer: sand beige leaning towards ochre yellow, with gray-brown shadows and beams of light that stay just a little lighter beige. The mood photo shows a gray-taupe version that looks slightly cooler and darker.
How INSTABILELAB wallpaper works in your interior
In that photo the design hangs in an empty room with a light gray poured floor, a metal bookcase, swivel chairs in assorted colors and a floor lamp with a red shade. The wall stays calm and lets the furniture speak, while the illusory light adds depth. Even on a wall the sun never reaches, the light seems to stream in. You can find this design in the I.Magine wallpaper collection by INSTABILELAB.
