Lisbon wallpaper LondonArt

Lisbon wallpaper by LondonArt with a woven textile texture

Lisbon wallpaper gives your wall the calm of a woven fabric, without a pattern demanding attention. Up close you see a fine grain of irregular threads, slightly slubbed here and there, with small shadows between them that give the weave depth. From a distance, that grain merges into an even surface. Because no repeat is visible, the texture runs seamlessly from corner to corner. It looks like coarse linen or jute and makes a room softer and warmer.

Colourways of Lisbon wallpaper in ivory and sand

LondonArt offers this design in ten colourways. LIS102 is off-white, ivory with a hint of cream. It is light enough to keep a room open, with just enough warmth to avoid feeling clinical. Combine it with chalk paint in warm gray, natural oak or light walnut and curtains in natural tones. LIS101 is light beige and sand-colored, with slightly darker threads that bring out the texture more clearly. It pairs well with travertine, smoked oak, cognac leather and matt brass.

Where LondonArt wallpaper with a woven texture comes into its own

Precisely because the design is so understated, it works well on walls you look at for a long time, such as behind a bed or in a study. In a hallway or entrance hall, the grain keeps large surfaces from looking bare. If you want to fully envelop a room, paper all the walls. The texture then forms one calm surface. At Selected Wallpapers you can order Lisbon wallpaper in all ten colourways, so you can choose the shade that suits your wood and stone.
