Aurelie Mural wallpaper Sandberg

Aurelie Mural wallpaper by Sandberg: a meadow of tall stems

With Aurelie Mural wallpaper you bring an entire meadow indoors, drawn like a botanical illustration in block print style. Large serrated peony-like flowers, tulips, lily of the valley, fritillaries and umbellifers rise up on long stems, with a seed pod, a poppy bud or a butterfly here and there. The motifs are large and repeat across the whole wall, so it looks full and lively without becoming busy. Flat layers of color, light line accents and a linen-look ground keep the design calm.

Colours of Aurelie Mural wallpaper: Light Blue, Sand and Dark Blue

In Light Blue, dusty pink and cream flowers, dark red umbellifers and gray-blue bellflowers stand on a gray-green ground. Combine this shade with sage green paint, light oak and undyed linen. Sand is warmer: sandy beige with ochre yellow, reddish-brown bellflowers, gray-blue umbellifers and an orange-brown tulip. This colourway suits travertine, terracotta, walnut and cream wool throws. Dark Blue is the darkest variant of this Sandberg wallpaper, for when you want to give the wall more depth.

Aurelie wallpaper by Sandberg in the living room and bedroom

Give the design a full wall so the tall stems have room to breathe: the longest wall of the living room or the wall behind the headboard in the bedroom. Keep the other walls plain in a color taken from the pattern, so the meadow remains the focal point. You'll find more designs in the Sandberg Edition wallpaper collection, and at Selected Wallpapers you can easily compare the three colourways of Aurelie Mural wallpaper side by side.
