Gryning wallpaper Sandberg

Gryning wallpaper by Sandberg: watercolour in gray and peach

Gryning wallpaper makes your wall look like a sheet of watercolour paper on which the paint has just bled. Horizontal bands of color flow into one another, with one darker band whose ragged upper edge recalls a distant horizon or tree line. Below it, the paint fades away in fine vertical streaks. The pattern is large and repeats, so the bands run uninterrupted across the full width of the wall. This gives a room calm and depth, as if you were gazing at a distant view in the morning light.

Colours of Gryning wallpaper in Gray

In the Gray colourway, the design begins at the top with a hint of peach and soft pink. Via off-white and light gray, this transitions into a mid-gray band, which dissolves again towards the bottom into light gray and white. The grainy paper texture and the bled paint edges give the surface a tactile, matt appearance. Combine it with chalk white or warm gray on skirting boards and window frames, with light oak or beech, and with natural stone such as travertine. Wool, linen and bouclé in cream or dusty pink tie in with the peach tint at the top.

Where Sandberg wallpaper Gryning comes into its own

On a long wall in the living room, behind the sofa or the bed, the continuous bands really come into their own. In a bedroom or a quiet workspace, the design brings a sense of calm. In a narrow room, the horizontal lines make the wall appear wider. Gryning is part of the Sandberg Edition wallpaper collection, and at Selected Wallpapers you will also find other designs from this range to combine it with.
