Skog wallpaper Sandberg

Skog wallpaper by Sandberg: a forest in the mist on your wall

Skog wallpaper brings a misty forest indoors. Straight trunks run the full height of the wall, with bare, slender branches between them that dissolve into the haze. At the bottom lies a forest floor covered in leaves, and a few green leaves rise up in the corners. A mottled texture lies over the photographic image and resembles old plasterwork. The pattern repeats with a large motif, so the wall gains depth without looking busy.

Colourways of Skog wallpaper: Misty Blue and Forest Green

In Misty Blue, blue-gray trunks stand against a light gray-blue background, with small gray-green leaves as the only accent of color. Combine this colourway with off-white, light oak and linen in sand or stone gray. Black-stained wood and matt brass provide a calm counterbalance. Forest Green turns everything green: green-gray trunks in a sage green mist. This color calls for terracotta, warm walnut and wool in ecru or olive. On the adjoining walls, a muted green paint keeps the calm intact.

Skog wallpaper by Sandberg in the bedroom and study

The misty forest works best on a wall where you want to unwind, such as the wall behind the bed in the bedroom or the long wall of a reading corner or study. Because the trunks run vertically, a low room appears taller. If you paper all four walls, you'll find yourself standing in the middle of the forest.
