Sunlace wallpaper: branches and foliage over a mosaic grid

Sunlace wallpaper by Tecnografica shows branches with leaves as vague silhouettes falling over a grid of small squares with light joints. The foliage hangs at the top of the wall and dissolves downwards, until almost only the grid remains at the bottom. Beneath that grid lies a mottled background reminiscent of concrete or plaster. You get one large image across the entire wall, without visible repetition. The leaves vary from palm-size to arm-length. Up close you read a tile mosaic, from a distance the shadow of a tree.

Colours of Sunlace wallpaper in Stone, Ecru and Cloud

There are nine colourways, divided across Stone, Ecru and Cloud, each in an A, B and C version. In Stone A the foliage lies in light beige and dark grayish brown over a taupe background, with cream-colored joints that keep the grid visible. Stone B uses the same tones but shows more leaves, and a diagonal line separates a lighter area at the bottom left. That line gives the wall a second layer, independent of the branches. The foliage itself remains picturesquely vague, so the color appears calm.

In the photo the design runs over a curved wall in a light lobby, into a niche with a planter full of gravel, stones and grasses. The fading foliage connects with the tree in front of it, as if the branches continue growing behind it. Because the bottom part is mainly grid, it remains calm around the bench.
