Garden Party wallpaper collection Mulberry

Garden Party wallpaper by Mulberry with florals, checks and stripes

With Garden Party wallpaper you bring a summery flower garden and a cupboard full of woven fabrics into your home. The Mulberry collection revolves around a warm, earthy palette with ochre as its base: salmon pink, rust red and terracotta alongside sage green, olive and grey-blue. Many patterns have a ground that looks like textile, from linen to twill. On top of that, the imagery varies widely. You'll find dense bouquets rendered in a painterly style, scattered little flowers in a naive drawing style, small sprigs with a block-print look, and checks and stripes that reference wool and ticking.

Patterns in the Garden Party wallpaper collection

The title pattern Garden Party wallpaper is a dense, large-scale bouquet of peonies, roses, hydrangeas and stocks in salmon pink and coral on an ochre-yellow ground. Lighter in tone is Firle Meadow wallpaper: scattered tulips, bellflowers and rosette flowers with tufts of grass, drawn flat and naive on cream with plenty of space in between. Mulberry Garden wallpaper tells of beehives, dovecotes, fruit trees and birds in small vignettes. Smaller in scale are Heirloom Sprig wallpaper, with sprigs in staggered rows and a block-print look, and Martock Sprig wallpaper, where leaves and five-petalled flowers are so densely packed that little background remains. Beauly wallpaper features a fine herringbone in ochre and camel, like a tweed jacket. Marquee Stripe wallpaper follows the lines of ticking fabric and Shetland Plaid wallpaper lays a tartan check with a visible twill structure across the wall.

Combining Mulberry wallpaper from Garden Party

Because the palette recurs in every pattern, Mulberry's Garden Party is easy to combine. Put the floral title pattern on one wall and choose the calm herringbone of Beauly for the adjoining wall. Firle Meadow and Heirloom Sprig keep things light in a bedroom or hallway thanks to their small scale. If you'd rather not have florals, the check or the stripe lets you keep the same warm tones.
