Shetland Plaid wallpaper Mulberry

Shetland Plaid wallpaper by Mulberry in warm check tones

Shetland Plaid wallpaper carries a Scottish tartan across the entire wall. Wide and narrow bands cross fine lines and form rectangular blocks in a medium-scale, repeating pattern. The textile look makes the difference. You can see the diagonal twill structure of woven wool, as if the wall were covered with a warm blanket. A room instantly feels more intimate and cosy, and a bare wall gains calm and rhythm at the same time. This Mulberry wallpaper works best where you want warmth without busyness.

Colourways of Shetland Plaid wallpaper

Quartz has a camel ground with bands in rust red and dusty pink, intersected by lines in olive green, mustard yellow and blue-gray. Pair it with off-white or a muted red, and combine it with cognac leather, walnut and raw linen. Antique is calmer, with sand and khaki and hairlines in ochre, gray-blue and lilac. It looks lovely with oak, travertine and cream wool. The pattern is also available in Espresso, Lovat, Teal and Russet. In the dark brown version, reddish-brown and ochre lines run over a deep ground, which looks beautiful alongside dark green lacquer paint and brass.
